Langtry’s Restaurant has recently opened its doors in the heart of Knightsbridge and offers British dishes with unique and inventive flavour combinations.
Langtry’s has a wonderful history, having once formed part of the home of the famous actress, Lillie Langtry, who lived at the property from 1892 until 1897.
The décor has been subtly modernised to enhance the historic grandeur of this elegant and sophisticated dining room. Featuring high sculptured ceilings, a magnificent Carrera marble Louis XIV fireplace, oversize mirrors and an original glass chandelier, Langtry’s has romantic charm. Our new menu for 2008 includes starters such as Carpaccio of Boccleuch Beef, Parmesan & Herb Salad, Cured Organic Salmon Gravalax, Acacia Honey & Mustard Dressing. The main courses feature dishes such as Roasted Loin of Welsh Lamb, white Bean & Garlic Cassoulet, Poached Guinea Fowl, Cep & Champagne Cream, Parsnip Crisps, Pan-fried Line Caught Sea Bass, Red Pepper Piperade, Sauce Vierge At dinner service, an appetiser is offered with the compliments of the chef.
